Every Tuesday, we host A Virtual Vintage Show & Tell where we invite vintage lovers to open the doors of their wardrobes and share their favourite pieces of vintage clothing.
Every guest will talk us through how they wear and style their pieces, where they bought them and the sentimental stories behind them.
If you're unable to tune in to watch live, we do upload each episode to our IGTV - you can click on each of the links below to view episodes you've missed to catch up, or re-watch them!

Who We Are

Our Story
Hello - we're Georgie and Emily.
Together we founded A Virtual Vintage Market.
We launched our Platform with the simple goals of wanting to encourage the buying of vintage clothing, to promote shopping with small businesses and to support our fellow traders during the global pandemic.
We had never met in person but immediately clicked and instinctively trusted one another. So much of the Platform has been created after a string of voice notes or a Facetime call in our PJs.
We are both so passionate about making vintage accessible for all, and about giving vintage sellers and consignors a platform on which to grow their brand and showcase their pieces. We champion vintage and firmly believe it is integral to a modern sustainable wardrobe.
We welcome you with open arms into our vintage loving community. X
Georgina Roberton
"I grew up around costume and musical theatre due to my Mum being an opera singer and in the West End, and I adored the way colour, print, patterns and clothing in general can change a character of a person. I think clothing can make you really feel things and I am passionate about sustainability and promoting a circular fashion economy. I prefer clothes which have stories to tell; and with vintage you will always have that, which is enchanting."
Georgie opened Peony Vintage in Margate in 2016, and has since worked as a freelance stylist and costume designer for commercials, film and fashion.

Emily Sturgess
"My love story with vintage began back in my teens - my mother had an incredible 1930s embellished satin jacket that I was obsessed with and used to secretly wear while dancing to S Club 7 in my room (it's now hanging in my closet). With decades of style to choose from, I think vintage fashion enables us to explore our own style and express our identity. I'm passionate about making vintage accessible to a wider audience, and proving it is a modern wardrobe solution."
Prior to founding A Virtual Vintage Market, Emily worked with private clients for several notable Fine Art & Interiors brands. She set up her own online vintage shop, Medley Vintage, in the latter part of 2017.
